Youth in the Deaf Community
Our youth club is like family, I have been going there for as long as I can remember and I've met lots of different people. I like that even though we are all different ages, and outside of youth club we have different hobbies, when we are at club, we all have fun together and nobody judges us for being different.
We have lots of space to play games downstairs and us older ones really enjoy getting to play in the games room upstairs with the proper pool table. The garden was really fun last summer because we had more space to play out there.
When I was little and went to club I just went to play and have fun, but now I'm a bit older I enjoy helping the adults and even volunteering to help out in deaf club when youth club isn't on.
