"Some of our members are doing a Sponsored Walk up Pen Y Fan mountain on May 17th to raise money towards the extensive building work needed here at the centre. If you would like to donate to this cause for their efforts please either do so in person at the centre or via our bank details below.

"So anyone who knows me, will know I have an aversion to exercise I am also (genuinely) allergic to the sun so this walk will be a real challenge for me.
But this is a very worthy cause so close to my heart. Our beloved Deaf Centre is in desperate need of new windows, rendering, plastering and so on. The water ingress is so bad now that we have lost the use of our rooms, and with that means less space for our Deaf community, most notably our Youth members.
The money raised from this sponsored walk will hopefully help pay towards the work needed.
