BSL Classes Update

Important Notice Regarding BSL Classes at Llanelli Deaf Centre

Dear BSL Students,

We're writing to inform you of a change regarding the free spaces offered in our sign language classes.

Unfortunately, we've had a number of instances where free spots have been claimed but then not attended. This means that valuable spaces, which could have been taken by others, have gone unused.

To ensure that these free opportunities are utilised effectively, and to help us continue offering them, we will now require a refundable £25 deposit for all Deaf individuals and their families who wish to enroll in a free BSL class. This deposit will be payable upfront and will be fully refunded upon successful completion of your BSL course.

We understand that this might be an inconvenience, and we sincerely apologise for any disruption this may cause. However, the income from our paid classes is essential for keeping the doors of the Deaf club open and allowing us to continue providing vital services and a welcoming space for the Deaf community – including offering these free classes to Deaf individuals and their families.
